Parent Guide to the Student Success Initiative

Parents, 5th and 8th grade students will be taking a pamphlet home that has very important State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) information. Students are required to pass the STAAR mathematics and reading tests to be promoted to their following grade. Please take the time to read it. It will guide you to prepare for your child's success. Padres, Estudiantes de quinto y octavo grado llevaran a casa un folleto con informacion muy importante del STAAR. Es requerido por ley que los estudiantes pasasen las pruebas del estado en matematicas y lectura para poder pasar de grado. Porfavor tomen el tiempo para leerlo. Los guiara a prepararse para el exito de su hijo(a). Thank you!
