Welcome to Harmony Robotics Team Website!

 

The FLL Robotics Championship Tournament was held last February 27, 2010 at Houston, Texas. More than 80 teams participated in the competition and the HSA -Brownsville Team won the 1st place under the category of Teamwork. This proves how collaboration brings us to success. Congratulations to our team: Ellis Chonka, Marco Gomez, Luis Ong, Antonio Beltran, and mentor Mr. Kivam. We are proud of you guys!

Harmony Science Academy Brownsville robotics team, Brownsville Tigers, participated in College Park FLL Qualifying Tournament on November 21 2009.24 teams competed in College Park H.S. Brownsville Tiger, got the 3rd Place Robot Performance Award.

Brownsville Tigers advanced to attend the Lone Star FLL Championship Tournament Dec. 5 at Pearland H.S.

HSA ROBOTICS TEAM DID MARVELOUS at TAMU KINGSVILLE
news

HSA Robotics team did a great job at Robotics competition at TAMU Kingsville. Although we were one of the only two middle schools participating at the competition and there were 18 high school teams, HSA Brownsville Robotics team was placed 4th at its first competition and proven itself to expect a bright future with many accomplishments. We would like to congratulate our robotics coach, Mr. Kivam, Mr. Kara and his tigers for a job well done.

FLL ROBOTICS COMPETITION

On January 10, 2009 our Robotics team competed in Houston, TX. They got a chance to show their robot skills to everyone. They competed in the University of Houston. We had a great time and meet many new people. We as a team learned a lot of new things.

  • BEST

    To excite our nation's students about engineering, science and technology to unlock their imagination and discover their potential

  • FLL

    Introduces younger students to real-world engineering challenges by building LEGO-based robots to complete tasks on a thematic playing surface. FLL teams, guided by their imaginations and adult coaches, discover exciting career possibilities and, through the process, learn to make positive contributions to society.

  • FTC

    FTC is designed for those who want to compete head-to-head, using a sports model. Teams of up to 10 students are responsible for designing, building, and programming their robots to compete in an alliance format against other teams. The robot kit is reusable from year-to-year and is programmed using a variety of languages.
